Day 7 - Connect with Your Crown Chakra

Crown Chakra Introduction

The Crown Chakra is traditionally associated with consciousness, connection and inner peace. It represents your connection to something greater than yourself, and marks the completion of this journey through all seven energy centres.

Crown Chakra Name

Sanskrit name: Sahasrara

Each chakra has a traditional Sanskrit name, the ancient language used in yogic and Vedic traditions where this system originated. Sanskrit names carry the original meaning and vibration of each energy centre.

Crown Chakra Seed Sound

Seed sound: Silence

Unlike the other chakras, the Crown Chakra's seed sound is silence itself. Sit quietly and let the stillness resonate at the top of your head, where this chakra's energy is centred.

Crown Chakra Colour

Colour: Violet / White

Violet and white are the traditional colours of spiritual connection. Picture soft violet or white light glowing above the crown of your head during meditation to help focus your awareness on this chakra.

Crown Chakra Body Focus

Body focus: Top of the head, so seated stillness and meditation work especially well here.

"Body focus" refers to the physical area of the body most closely associated with that chakra, and it's often the region to bring your attention to during meditation, breathing or yoga.

Simple Crown Chakra Yoga Pose

Sit comfortably with a long spine and soft breath. Seated Meditation connects you to the crown of your head, where this final chakra is centred. Sit comfortably with your spine long, either cross-legged on the floor or upright in a chair. Close your eyes and begin with a slow, deep breath in through the nose for a count of four, hold gently for a count of four, then release slowly through the nose for a count of six. Repeat this rhythm for a few rounds, letting each exhale soften your shoulders and settle your mind. Once your breath finds its own natural pace, let go of counting and simply observe it, air moving in, air moving out. If thoughts arise, don't fight them, just notice them and gently return to the breath. Stay here for as long as feels good."

Crown Chakra Crystals

Crystals are believed to carry their own subtle energy, quietly formed over thousands of years within the earth. When you hold or wear one, you connect with something alive and ancient that can help anchor your own intention.

Choose a Crown Chakra stone like Clear Quartz, Howlite or Amethyst, or reach for our Crown Chakra Crystal Meditation Necklace, which brings a selection of tactile Crown Chakra stones together in one versatile design.

Hold your crystals, breathe slowly, meditate and set a simple intention. Then carry, wear or place them somewhere you can see them throughout your day, so they become a beautiful, constant reminder to protect and nurture that energy.

Crown Chakra Mantra

A mantra is simply a word or short phrase you repeat, out loud or silently, to help focus your mind and shift your energy.

Say your mantra slowly a few times today, especially in moments of stillness, and let the words sink in rather than just reciting them.

"I am connected. I am at peace. I am whole."

You can also use your crystal necklace as you repeat this mantra, moving slowly from stone to stone, one repetition per bead, for a simple, centering practice.

Crown Chakra Practice

Sit in quiet meditation for a few minutes today, with no goal other than to simply be present. Find a comfortable seat, close your eyes, and let your breath settle into its own natural rhythm. There's nothing to fix or figure out here, just notice the quiet, and notice yourself within it. If your mind wanders to the past seven days, let it, without judgment. When you're ready, open your eyes slowly and take a moment to simply sit with how you feel, complete, connected, and a little more at home in yourself than when you began.

Crown Chakra Intention

Read your intention in the morning, repeat it whenever you need to refocus, and let it quietly guide how you respond to whatever comes up.

"I am connected to something greater than myself."

Crown Chakra Journaling Prompt

Write whatever comes to mind for a few minutes, without overthinking or editing yourself.

What does feeling "whole" mean to you?

Looking back over these seven days, what have you learned about yourself?
